Lashina and her tank are a good addition to the DC Super Hero Girls product line. With every super hero comes a super villain to disrupt the day. This set includes not only Lashina and her tank vehicle but also Krypto, the super dog, and his dog house. This is the first time that Krypto (Superdog) has appeared as a character in a Lego kit. While Lashina tries to kidnap Krypto does she succeed or does one of Super Hero Girls arrive in time to save the day?The kit is easy to assemble and is great as a beginning project or gift for someone who is collecting the DC Super Girl Hero line. The instructions are easy to follow and the whole kit can be assembled in under 30 minutes. Both the doghouse (catapult) and the tank (small gun) can launch weapons. The set is great as a standalone kit or can be a wonderful addition when added to other DC Super Hero Girl kits.

For girls who are fans of the DC Super Hero Girls and building with LEGO, this small set is a fun merging of the two. It features some fun elements that allow kids to bring the action of the web series to life as they recreate what they see on season three of the show or imagine all-new superhero versus villain storylines. And kids who already have some of the other LEGO DC Super Hero Girls construction sets will like adding this one to their collections for even more play possibilities and yet another cute little Kryptomite to add to their collections. On its own, though, this set is a fun catalyst for open-ended, narrative-based play.

There is a great deal of play value in this set, particularly given the low price point. The models are relatively simple in their design but they offer some fun features and I am very pleased to see so many characters included.
