this is a technic kit with many small parts, so take care with children. the kit can be assembled into either a modern or a vintage motor cycle. excellent features and satisfying build, took me about 3 hours. now takes pride of place on side cupboard. might buy another one so I can make vintage bike as well without dismantling the modern one. suspension and engine cylinders with working pistons add to the realism. great kit, my only gripe is that the kick stand seems a bit weak, bendy under the weight of the model. I might experiment with strengthening this part... but overall I recommend this kit!

Overall, this is a bit style-over-substance (engine excepted) and, while it looked like it might be an outstanding bike, it's really rather… average. It's saved by its good looks and that B-model.

Despite its weaknesses, it's a great looking model, particularly the right-hand side where the chain is not visible. It definitely needs the stickers to be applied: you will not be satisfied with its appearance without them. It's an interesting build too, because hardly anything is at right-angles.

I've never built a motorcycle set before. I'm impressed that everything can be fit into a tight space while still keeping a nice shape with lots of great angles. The handlebars seem a bit small for my liking, and I don't like that the front panels are fixed and don't move with the wheel although I understand that's a common bike design.
