Nice item for a gift for the kids my Grandson loves puzzles so he will love this he's 6 but says 8 + he's up to the challenge. Nice deal also price wise fast delivery making good use of my Prime trial
With a piston, moving propeller and an awesome wind shield, it is suprising that it is under 15 pounds. Every time I look at the awesome shaping, I am stunned. I would have like a rudder, but I forgive lego at the sight of price. Great
While I love the looks on this baby, I feel that this set could have easily implemented some form of front wheel steering. I mean, rotating the front wheel would have been sufficient. Adding a second function to this set would have turned this straightforward set into something more special. Now it's okay-ish.
This is a strange set. A building experience that is pleasurable coupled with a dynamic colour scheme should equate to a set that is an exciting thing to own. Yet the finished model is something of a let down and those exposed wheels just look a tad ridiculous. This is by far the weakest set of this current wave.
All in all, this small set is a fun to build and play with. The set also has a great selection of panels that you can reuse in MOCs.
I do like the shape of the craft: the curved and wing panels have been put to good use, but really don't like the black. I can only guess it's black because it's cheap and parts in the colour are plentiful. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with it but compared to other Technic sets of this size it's unexciting. I suspect it will be an easy pass for most Technic fans.
