It gets a big ol' 10/10 from yours truly, and I recommend it even more highly than other sets I've given a 10/10 in the past, because this is one baby that you should not pass up. You will regret it, and Bricklink prices will be exorbitant. Trust me. They always are.

Recommendation: meh 4.5 / 5 by Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

Overall, I really like the design of the Weasley house. The way it was put together was definitely a thumbs up and a great representation of the Burrow in the movies. The marshland adds more detail to the overall completeness of the set. The Floo fireplace is also a good addition although I wished it would've fit in the house but who said you can't have an outdoor fireplace.

Excellent set but be mindful of the price. The best rule of thumb for buying LEGO is approximately ten cents per Lego piece unless it's specialty set. So for this I probably wouldn't ever pay more than seventy bucks. You have to weigh how much you want out of production sets to decide how much extra you're willing to pay.

This set is simple and sweet and works very well by itself, even to people who do not enjoy the Harry Potter series. This build itself is cute, especially its inside, and it comes with several minifigures which help to create a play scenario. Even without them, the house is cute enough that it could work out of context as well. The LEGO 4840 set also has a sizable number of unique minifigures, making it very much worth it for the Harry Potter LEGO fan.
