This is a fantastic set for any bricker. If you are building a LEGO City, you probably know it's a real treat to have ‘city' type buildings and structures that aren't police or fire related. This set is a must have for any LEGO City. Though the price per piece ratio isn't ideal, it's still a fantastic addition to any LEGO collection. The street sweeper is another huge plus when it comes to this set. There's also a ton of detail on the inside of the gas station... grab some pizza while you're fueling up.There isn't anything special about the car, but you of course need some type of vehicle to increase the playability. If you can still find this set, make sure to get one as you'll be surprised at how quickly this set disappears from the shelves. If my review was helpful, please hit "helpful" below. Kids are really going to like that they can build this LEGO set in two different ways. Each model has lots of fun elements that allow kids to play out everyday automotive adventures, from making a pit stop on a road trip or fixing up a car, for instance. And the amount of detail on each model is really impressive, too. If you look inside the gas station, for example, you'll find a mini LEGO set for sale in the shop. This set provides lots of opportunities for creative building and imaginative roleplay.
i like it because you can play with it and cars are cool and lego did a good job with makeing lego
I really do like this set, but it is too expensive for what you actually get. You are paying $0.21 per brick. If you divide the total cost by the amount of time it takes to build, you are paying $0.69 per minute of fun. These numbers are high when comparing this with other sets. The build is nice, the main drawbacks for me being the open rear wall, the incomplete fueling area, and a questionable pizza parlour. The Minifigures are nothing special, but are nice, normal additions to a LEGO city. Do I recommend this set? Not at full price. Wait for at least a 20% off sale.
60132 Service Station is a good effort from LEGO to mix the good old Octan brand with the nostalgic vibe of a service station that is unfortunately held back by a very expensive price tag.
