To start off, I was expecting this ship to be way smaller than it actually is, it's almost the size of a football! The colours are wonderful to look at and the multitude of compartments to store stuff in is great for play, the holding cell being the best example. The sticker roll is a cool extra too, even though I wouldn't use it myself, I can see how it's fun for younger builders. Though I have to say, the big elephant in the room is the price. It's a little steep for what you get. Maybe just 10 dollars lower would definitely make it a must-buy. But with that said, if you like the look of it, it's definitely worth it.
children's dreams are true, but they are very unstable! Take this ship as a 4d puzzle. You can not fantasize about flying because it easily breaks down. But anyway, teach our child to be patient. but still a little disappointment.he can not play with the ship, constantly disassembles something....The helmet of sweet mayhem stuck in the head (and can not be changed with blue hair).Updated: the space ship - the dream, is already dropped in a box. The patience and constant repairs are over.🙂

It is an interesting colour scheme, and quite swooshable. Sweet Mayhem is a great figure, and her helmet also looks good on a minifigure! And any set enhancing the parts palette of a new colour is always welcome.
It's great for fans, ages 8+ and includes Lucy and Emmet mini-figures, and a Sweet Mayhem mini-doll. At the center of it all is the Starship which features an opening cockpit, retractable landing gear, a disc shooter, a roll of stickers and an opening prison cell.
I like this set, but there is one big problem with it that weighs it down. The build of the Systar Starship is really great – it's larger than I expected and is incredibly designed; easily one of the best builds from the LEGO Movie 2 line. The minifigure lineup is a little weak but the figures themselves are good. Playability is not bad, with the disc shooter, the interiors, and the swooshability of the ship.
No other set in the theme is quite like this one, which not only looks fantastic but includes the most unique play feature of any LEGO set ever released, with the roll of stickers giving a good indication of who might have built this spaceship. Those buying into the strange world of The LEGO Movie 2 will definitely want to pick up 70830 Sweet Mayhem's Systar Starship.
Despite having one of the highest price-per-piece values [...] of any of The LEGO Movie 2 sets, I am happy to say that 70830 Sweet Mayhem's Systar Starship! is easily one of the best sets for new parts in recent memory. For those keeping track, it contains approximately 22 new recolored (primarily in Bright Bluish Green) parts, four notable new non-minifigure elements, and five all-new printed parts, resulting in over thirty-one new parts. Add to this the wonderful selection of minifigures and the unconventional ship design, and this set is easy to recommend.
The build of the ship is intriguing, as you construct it, you wonder how should a square and blocky base will result in such a curved finished model. One of the most interesting things about the set is the use of parts, those curved wings first used to create a hot air balloon in both a Friends and NINJAGO set, are perfectly incorporated into the build to help give it that unique shape. I also love the little sticker roll, which peeks out of the rear of the ship.
