Even though it seems a bit light for a $60 set (thanks to the abundance of some small parts), it's still just a rock solid build that's fun to play with and display.
This was a set I kinda ignored until I saw it for sale at Toys r us. Then I looked into it, and figuring it may not be on sale again, I bought it. It was an enjoyable build, with not too many challenging steps. The minifigure selection is great, with Batman (obviously), Robin, Kabuki twins, and the Manbat. The worst minifigure here is the Manbat, since he's the same version from a couple years back. I wish they had made a new version of the Manbat or just given us a different character instead. The Batmobile is great, as it was larger than expected. There is space for Batman and Robin inside, even though it gets pretty cramped in there. The inside is easily accessible, with a simple feature to get the roof off. There is lots of detail, even without putting the stickers on, making it a great display piece. It's also great for play, with little things that can be articulated, and it's very stable. The best part about the Batmoblie is definitely the movement in the wheels. It can go in all different directions and poses with this feature. Though, amidst the great things in the Batmobile, there are two flaws in it. The first is that the inside isn't 100% closed up, as there are two small “gaps" near the base of the vehicle that leave the inside open to the outside. Secondly, there aren't many things that shoot on the vehicle. There are only two stud shooters on the whole vehicle, which isn't much. Overall, the Batmobile is a well made build. This set has a few downs here and there, but the biggest problem here is the price. This set is $75, which is way too much for a set that has less than 600 pieces. This set should be $60, or $65 at most. This is a great set for many reasons, so the price should be reasonable so more kids and collectors can get it. Though, this is a must buy if you see it on sale.

Customer Video Review Length:: 17:58 Mins LEGO has produced many examples of The Batmobile including the classic 1960s reproduction and my favorite - The Tumbler. This is a mid-range set and great value with the current discounts $47 at Amazon versus $60 at The LEGO Store. Don't be fooled by the part count, this is a fiddly build but is robust and will hold up to hours of play. I really like the way the wheels have dual points of articulation and the minifigures (Batman, Robin, Manbat and The Kabuki Twins). The downside was an excess of stickered pieces where printed pieces would have given a more satisfying and less frustrating to build end result. Value for money is not bad for LEGO, especially with the Amazon discount. Recommended.

The set is a considerably decent size and has a lot of play features. It's actually larger than I expected after building it. The only knock I have for this set is not with the Batmobile itself but with the minifigure selection. Three of the five minifigures we've had before and one of those is a three year old minifigure with Man-Bat. Other than that, I feel the Batmobile will be a nice addition to your collection.
This is a very cool set that fans of the new LEGO Batman Movie will really like building and playing with. The Batmobile's moving wheels offer some versatility in the play as kids recreate their favorite movie scenes or imagine all-new comedic good versus evil battles.
If you only pick up one set from The LEGO Batman Movie range, this would be a solid choice that does not disappoint. Like The LEGO Movie sets did, this offers a detailed build experience superior to that found in the DC Super Heroes range. As for the design, the licence plate best sums up this unique take on the Batmobile. It has ‘battittude'.
I highly recommend 70905 The Batmobile for its fun-filled features, and its gorgeous aesthetics. No other set has captured LEGO Batman' personality in LEGO bricks as well as The Batmobile has.
This set is quite good. Playability and minifigures are not up to the high standard I would expect, but apart from that, this is a very nice set and a standout of the wave. The price is also good, especially in comparison to other LEGO Batman Movie sets. The vehicle looks super badass and definitely has BATITUDE!
Don't let the thin-looking black vehicle on the box fool you — this is a substantial, interesting set with some really fun play features, solid minifigs, and a surprisingly diverse selection of parts. And for sixty bucks you get 581 pieces and five figs, so it's actually a decent deal for a LEGO set in a licensed theme.
It is a great set for Batman fans and its collection of vehicles, as well as a great set for children because its playability, which also invites you to purchase other vehicles (from the bad guys, obviously …) that also appear in the movie and can complement the game.
The main thing that you need to know is that it is an extremely likeable set indeed. Good build. Good playability. Good display piece. If it has caught your eye, then I would certainly recommend it and say that you should buy it at the first price you are happy with. Batitude? Yes indeed.
