I am so happy about getting these toys for my grandson. They promote following directions, (through picture directions instead of words) and also manual dexterity. After buying all in the series, my grandson is very happy and enjoys taking them apart and swapping parts.
I quite enjoy Takanuva. The review may have sounded like I didn't like him, but I do. The colors work well, as do the twin staffs. The articulation's good, and while I would have like to see a new mask to hug over the matoran head, it's not a huge problem for me. If you have been enjoying the Stars, then pick up Takanuva.
I love that this is Takanuva, and mostly looks like Takanuva. But I cannot deny that this set can be both boring, and disappointing. For the end of BIONICLE, why couldn't we get something more worthwhile? Regardless, Takanuva was a wonderful choice to be represented in the Stars line, no matter how much I wish he was Kopaka Nuva instead (I really, really wish he was Kopaka Nuva instead). He may be worth the purchase just for being Takanuva. That's up to you. He was for me.
