I got this set for my nephew to build. He is on the autism spectrum and he just loves Lego and Star Wars. His dad also loves them, so the two of them did this together, and it was a fun family activity. I wish I could tell you something about the instructions or how well the pieces were made, but they wouldn't let me touch it. (The 40 year old was the worst.) Technically I'm not even supposed to be handling the box, but I managed to sneak it away so I could tell you that there are 746 pieces and it has 5 figures depicting characters from the movies. When it's complete it has moving parts and a couple of little guns that actually fire. For younger kids, they'll have a toy they can play with, and for the older ones they'll have a cool model to add to their Lego collection or Star Wars stuff. Or if leaving this in the box is your thing, you can do that too, but I think the fun is really in building these things and having a good time.

Combining the minifigures, sections of scenery and the centerpiece Ski Speeder, 75202 Defense of Crait serves as an even point of contact – and Resistance – to the First Order's selection of vehicles already available in LEGO form, and it will probably have you looking through your dark red and white bricks to build up more of the unique landscape of Crait.

It is a great set to go with the AT-M6s. Now all we need is that cannon! This set needs a better improvement on the trench, needs a lower price; LEGO has been making their prices higher in my opinion.

I do wish that the Resistance Trooper was a more specific character, but then again, I wish I could pilot the Millennium Falcon with Chewy and a bunch of Porgs. We can't have it all, but we can have lots of fun with our Defense of Crait Lego set. The Last Jedi is my favorite of the recent Star Wars films, and I'm happy to see some cool specifics from the epic final battle.

This is definitely my favourite Star Wars set of the January 2018 wave. I absolutely love the V-4X-D ski speeders in the movie and this rendition of the vehicle is truly magnificent, featuring extensive detail across the entire model and offering considerable play value as a result of its sturdy construction. I could not resist flying the speeder around as soon it was complete and I think it looks equally impressive on display, particularly when elevated on a stand.

The Crait Resistance base leaves a lot to be desired. After all, these are merely the outer defenses, and woefully undersized. But given that this is the smaller part of the set, and the fact that frankly, I don't want a giant metal door for a set, this does a good job of evoking the Resistance base. I do think it's sorely missing a vulptex (crystaline fox), however. This would have been the perfect set to include one, but sadly they're missing from the entire lineup of The Last Jedi sets, despite playing a key role in the plot. The Ski Speeder is a terrific model. Reminiscent of the B-wing at a glance, it's sturdy and will easily stand up to rigorous play. It's not quite as accurate as it could be, but neither is it far off target. All the broad strokes are in the right places, with only insignificant details out of place. At 15 inches wide (38 cm), the speeder is larger than it looks.
