My son chose this for a gift for his cousin. It arrived early & package was in perfect condition. After seeing the package, my son was liking it & wanted to keep even though he isn't into Spider-Man. Lol
Pros: I am a huge fan of this set. At $.08 per part it is a fair value and probably the best so far of 2019 for the Marvel line. The Carnage figure is the best to date and his tendrils are very possible and easy to make into a dynamic scene. I'm a HUGE fan of Mile Morales and it was super fun to get him in figure form again. He looks good. Next there is the bike which I like as well. Its a fun build and looks good when done. It is very swooshable and stable in play. While it is a little big for the figures it doesn't detract from the play the same way the Captain America bike also released this year does. Finally I love the little lab build. It is generic enough that it fits well inside other builds but it pops enough to add to the set. A lot of the time Lego tacks on elements that don't add to the play. In this case it was done right and feels like it brings something to the scene that can also be added to other sets. It has been extremely well received by both the kids and myself as an adult collector. Cons: It loses a few points for stickers...but still a solid set.
I think this set is alright. The minifigures are decent, and I like the generator build but dislike Spider-Man's bike. The bike feels very unnecessary and oversized. Playability is alright and I think the set is fairly priced. However, I feel that there are definitely better sets out there than this.
76113 Spider-Man Bike Rescue is not among the best Marvel Super Heroes products that LEGO has released but I am quite satisfied with this set. The new Spider-Man minifigure looks magnificent and I like this exclusive version of Miles Morales, despite its similarity to previous figures. Carnage is even more impressive though, featuring articulated tendrils and a suitably menacing facial expression.
This set holds a fair amount of appeal, despite the models included being either by the numbers or weak. The set is perfectly sized and priced to be a great birthday gift or pocket money purchase for children looking to start, or beef up, their super hero collection. Conversely, adult collectors should jump on the chance to get these three figures at such a low price point.
