We don't have many DC sets, but we really like this one. The set comes with Batman, Robin and Mr. Freeze. It took myself with my almost 6-year old around 30 minutes to put together. The set is fairly well balanced between good and bad. This allowed us to play together. I was of course Mr Freeze capturing Robin and Batman in the Batcycle saved the day. One of the fun features is that the Batcycle can split into fairly well balanced bikes. Definitely one of our favorite sets.

This set is wonderful for my 4 year old (and me). The bike detaches, and re attaches very easily. Mr. Freeze looks good, and his "vehicle" is a quick little build that works. I cant say this enough about the shooters in this set.....ITS GREAT! Finally, a shooting mechanism that doesnt just lose the tiny 1x1 piece after one or two times. They dont go as far or as fast, but thats a good thing! My son can shoot and reload without looking for the piece, and then losing interest. Keep it like that designers!!

Minifigures are frequently the highlight of smaller Super Heroes sets and 76118 Mr. Freeze Batcycle Battle certainly contains some excellent minifigures, the most notable of which is the new Mr. Freeze figure. However, I think the updated Batcycle is worthy of attention too, particularly when combined in its four-wheeled configuration which stands out when compared with previous designs.
