Very cute set- especially the reindeer! I'm always impressed with how well even the smallest of details look on Lego sets and this one doesn't disappoint, the items included and the characters look good. My daughter has a Frozen set from the first movie and I had accidentally thrown away Elsa's cape and it was tragic, so it's nice to have a replacement 😄 My daughter, who is in 3rd grade, is so excited about this set to go with her older one and that she has a new type of Elsa/outfit…plus the other set didn't have Sven, or baby reindeer, so that really made her happy! The quality is on-point and we received all pieces. She was able to put it together pretty quickly.
This set is adorable. I actually had a really fun time putting this together with my kids and looking at all the cute features; cookies, roasting marshmallows, carrot and brush for the reindeer. My three-year-old and five-year-old both enjoyed zooming the wagon around and playing with the set but Elsa's hair kept falling off. I was also disappointed to see that the set revolves around the wagon/reindeer but there is no Kristoff. I would rather have Kristoff instead of the baby reindeer. I also don't really understand the 2nd small hut/stable they have. It doesn't have interactive qualities so I feel like it could have been omitted or worked into something more functional. Overall, I think this set has some unique elements, great color choices and fun role playing opportunities but I really wish there was a Kristoff!
As a taste of what to expect in Frozen II, there's a lot young fans will love about 41166 Elsa's Wagon Adventure. Other than that, as Frozen fans know, “reindeers are better than people" – so it is worth buying the set just for the unique, uber cute baby reindeer.
I think this would be a fun set for a young builder just getting into LEGO or who is a fan of the Frozen movies. The wagon allows Elsa to travel around the enchanted forest on endless adventures, while the side builds make for a comfortable camp. This set is a nice addition to the rest of the Frozen II series, and many of the pieces will be useful in my collection.
