Dorado Showdown

This set really caught my eye when the Overwatch line was released primarily because of the addition of an actual structure along with the payload. It's an iconic spot on the map (in my opinion) and the size is perfect for the price point. The build of the vehicle was fun and I love the design of it. The figs are great with outstanding printing. I am tempted to buy another to create a larger scene with it! Recommend 100% more less

This set looks exactly like it does in game. The figures are all very well detailed and so do the builds themselves. I did have some slight problems putting together the building or bridge part. Some of the pieces can be easily removed and while building it can be difficult to put some parts on without others coming off. I also am a little surprised by how big Soldier: 76's gun is. It is accurate to the game but I do wish it was smaller. The car and fruit stand are really well built and I had no trouble at all putting that section together. Id definitely recommend this set to any Overwatch fan or Lego fan in general. more less

I think the designers did a good job recreating this part of the Dorado Escort map in such a fairly small set. You get a few good minifigs, some useful parts, and some decent looking scenery. There could have been more play features and details, and it would have been nice if they would have at least given Reaper a different skin or something to make him exclusive, but at such a ridiculously low price I can't even be mad. Even if you're not an Overwatch fan, the set is worth getting for the parts alone. more less

While this set relies on a knowledge of the game to fully appreciate the included characters and builds, it still has something to offer the typical LEGO fan, through the use of the design techniques in the building, as well as the truck itself. The exquisite minifigures merely serve as a bonus in this set. more less

I can't quite recommend this set to LEGO fans who aren't familiar with Overwatch as it doesn't appeal strongly unless you're very familiar with the source material. If you main McCree or Soldier 76 in the game, this set is for you and I think you'd be quite happy with it, but otherwise, the set's relatively high price and simple build doesn't make this the most appealing Overwatch set available. more less

The LEGO Overwatch Dorado Showdown (75972) is a decent set that is pretty faithful to the game. The truck payload looks better in person than on the box art and the building is a good complement. I do like the little touches of detail like the sprays and the posters even though they're stickers. The main draw in this set are, of course, the minifigures. We get three of the characters with detailed printed for each. The weapons look good brick-built especially Reaper's Hellfire shotguns but I feel they are a little too big compared to the minifigures. more less

The success of each Overwatch set is heavily reliant upon their minifigure selection and I think 75972 Dorado Showdown fares reasonably well in that regard. Soldier: 76 looks marvellous when compared with the video game and I love Reaper's design too, even though his spectral form is absent from this set. McCree could probably be improved though, particularly with the addition of a combined hair and hat component. more less

The finished set is very much about play value. It was lost on me, but my son immediately picked up a couple of the minifigs and commenced with the “pew pew." I will say that the low price per piece (just over 7¢) makes this a great parts pack, chock full of snot elements and other cool bits. more less
