My son loved it. I have a LEGO Gandalf that my 8 year old son was always looking to swipe. Of course I would not part with my LEGO Gandalf. We had epic battles over it. Many sword fights and Hulk fists vs Mjolnir battles. He shall not pass!!! But in the end I got him this LEGO pack and he loved it.The shipping was never late nor early. It arrived precisely when it meant to.
Buy it if you are a completionist like me or don't have Gandalf from the 2012 LOTR sets, but give it a miss and buy another copy of 30212 if you aren't.
There is a torch, a spear, and a green vine that's on the stone wall. There's also a skull with a map next to it and spider to the side. The skull is probably Thrain after he died. The Gandalf minifigure is the same is the one's we've seen before plus a sword.
If you want a complete collection of The Hobbit sets or are looking to get Gandalf on the cheap, I would definitely recommend this set. You could also buy a bunch and get some good pieces for castle MOCing. If you're looking for something with play value though, your money will be better spent elsewhere.
