I like the funny photo booth idea and that more brickheadz should be this creative.
Overall the LEGO BrickHeadz Wedding Groom (40384) is a fun little wedding gift that you can give or even use as a cake topper if you have a big enough cake. The ability to customize the groom is an added bonus and only coming in at $0.05/piece, the set also makes a good parts pack.
If you collect the BrickHeadz, you will get these anyway. They are solid work and look good! For everyone else, these sets don't bring too much value.
Overall, this pair of sets makes for a proposal you'd be mad to turn down. Go on, get hitched to them.
I've always enjoyed BrickHeadz and I do like it when LEGO release sets which can be used to celebrate special events like Birthdays or indeed a wedding. Past sets have been criticised for only including a male and female couple, but with these sets being sold separately, that isn't a problem. I can still seeing people complain about the lack of outfit choices for the bride, or that there is no red hair options etc. But for a set which cost only a little more than a single BrickHeadz set, you can getting almost double the elements and you can alway use the instructions to add new colours to really make the bride and groom BrickHeadz your own.
I think they are a great addition to the BrickHeadz line-up, although probably not something that all collectors of the blocky figures will buy. The myriad customisation options available for both bride and groom should make it possible to build just about any couple and, if you need two grooms or two brides, no problem: they are sold separately. I can see that an AFOL couple would appreciate these, perhaps perched on top of their cake on the big day but, as I said, I do worry that a non-AFOL bride/groom will most likely object to being depicted as a short and stubby cube. That's an issue the AFOL groom/bride will have to resolve...
