Our 5yr old granddaughter loves to build these LEGO projects. My husband sits with her and only helps to remove a small piece she cannot feet back off to make the correction to where the piece needs to go. Pieces are pre grouped into several numbered bags and they go step by step through. They get to spend special time together doing this and she keeps them in her room but does play with them after they are built. If during use a piece comes off she repairs it herself. Gets a big sense of accomplishment when done. May take two sessions to get the more complicated ones done (he tires before she) but have built four so far with another for this next trip

Love that this set has 3 characters, especially Tiana, allowing you to mix, match and merge storylines and stretch the imagination. But this leaves a gaping hole where Pocahontas and Esmeralda should be! Both characters would provide great play and learning opportunities as well as fun accessories. With so many Disney 'princesses' now represented it's so disappointing these interesting and diverse characters have been left out (Especially Esmeralda!).

Considering all that is included in 41162 Ariel, Aurora & Tiana's Royal Celebration, it is extremely good value for money, and will definitely appeal to Disney Princess fans.
