I took my time with this one, building it without stickers to see how it looks. The grey bricks are beautiful and the effect of the yellow wheels and the black mags is perfect. I choosed this one for the minifig at first, but the car is really amazing and well made. My favorite so far.

Another lovely Speed Champions from Lego. These little sets are perfect for kids and collectors. Not too many pieces, and typically they are reasonably priced as well.

On the whole, while I think this set is good, it's not as good as the Mustang. The elongated front just doesn't make the car look very good. The value, though, is still superb as ever.

While I'm not a huge fan of the real-life car (I pine deeply for my own 1960's Ford GT40…), the LEGO set does accurately capture the car's long silhouette, and the racing details in particular are highly accurate. This is a fun little set, and you basically get two cars for the price of one.
