I'm very happy with this set. It's a clean design, fun and educational build and looks fantastic. Perhaps one day I'll get to visit it's real-world counterpart in Washington DC, but for now I can admire this fitting tribute to it's majestic neoclassical style.
I own 6 Lego Architecture sets and this one is my pride and joy. It has a great over all construction and looks fantastic when all put together.
This set is what every Lego architecture fan would wish for. This lego set contains 1084 pieces it seems like a lot less as it really doesnt take a long time to build. This piece when completed looks astonishing as every fine detail is captured from the front to the interior it is very well designed.
This building kit, which represents one of our nation's most important structures, makes for a wonderful display piece in your home or office. While a LEGO product, it's more of a collectible than a toy. Either way, it's still fun to put together and will give you a sense of accomplishment once completed. History buffs and patriots will appreciate the detail LEGO has put into the Capitol Building from the columns to the interior of the National Statutory Hall, an unexpected feature that shows how much craftsmanship went into it.

All in all, I think this is a pretty good Architecture set – despite the repetitive nature of the build, the final model does look pretty darn great and is undoubtedly recognizable. The removing roof is also a nice touch.
A good representation of the original building, except for the missing facade. This set is a nice addition to a LEGO Architecture collection, next to the Lincoln Memorial fo example. My only advice would be to display it at eyes level.
If you're a fan of the LEGO Architecture series, the United States Capitol Building is a fairly good addition. There are some exclusive pieces in the set that could be useful for MOCs. The building experience wasn't too challenging as the building techiques are simple but very repetitive in some places. Also if you have OCD, the steps that use the 1×1 tiles and cheese slopes may cause anxiety as you try to get them straight.
LEGO has really outdone themselves with this set. The Architecture line keeps getting better and better each year, not just with the selection of models but with the details put into each one. I wish the build could have gone by a little faster, but a slow, methodical build is nice once in a while. The part selection is great, which lead to a fantastic-looking model for display. Or...to be sorted into your collection to make use of that sweet sand-green. The set offers a lot, making it a worthy addition of the LEGO Architecture line.
This is a set that takes time to construct and once you have built it, it is a joy to behold. If you are one who likes to snap a few pieces together to get a model made in no time then this is not the set for you. But, if you prefer to savour the build, to take the time over placing every element to ensure it is lined up and square then you will enjoy building this very much. Once finished, you will have a real sense of achievement.
