I bought this for my 7yr old daughter for Easter. She's had lego sets before, but this is the 1st one she's put together herself! I was actually surprised, and really proud of her. She worked on it on and off throughout the Easter events of the day, and by early evening she was done, along with the purple car set you see in the photos. She did ask for help sitting the 2nd story on, but only because she was afraid to mess up all of her work. She has since moved it off, and back on herself. She's in love with this set. I think this may be the start of a passion for her. There's so much playability with this set. I love that it comes with so many different things for you to do with the multiple figures, jet skies, activities like basketball, roasting marshmallows, and still has this big, useable, Lakeside house too. Even though this is Juniors, it is completely compatible with regular Legos. I definitely recommend this. It's worth it for all you get to do.

This will be a nice way for younger fans of LEGO Friends to get to build a fun set just like the big kids but with an easier-to-build system. This set packs a lot of fun details and accessories to inspire imaginative storytelling.
