This is a great first building set for young kids. My almost three-year-old loves the set I bought him and asks for other trucks to build. He takes the trucks apart and builds multiple variations; it's great for gross motor skills and cognitive development. I highly encourage you to buy this for your toddler. Older kids might be ready for the next level.

Kids will have a fun time building these sets and then pretending they are working hard at the construction site. The Truck & Tracked Excavator rolls well on carpet and hard surfaces. The back of the truck moves up and down to carry and dump construction debris, and the Tracked Excavator seat swivels all the way around and the claw can be adjusted to several positions. This set is perfect for imaginative play and will help improve fine motor skills and foster creativity. Kids can use the blocks to build different scenes or as construction debris that they can move around using both construction vehicles. The Duplo figures enhance the roleplay aspect of this playset and are graphically designed to get kids excited about their construction work.
