I got this for my three girls to share for Christmas and it has been such a hit I finally bought another one so more than one could play with it at a time. This is one of the first Duplo sets that didn't just have one or two pieces that they were excited about but all of them!!

I bought this as a gift for my daughter's second birthday. She really likes playing with the horse, squirrel, and Princess Sofia. If you're going to build a castle (as shown on the box) do it on a hard surface. The blue base for the castle is a little small so the castle wants to tip over. And the hitch for the horse and buggy does not stay connected very well. My little girl wants to drive the horse and buggy around but it often comes apart. It's not a huge deal, but it is a bit of an annoyance that I have to re-hitch every 30 seconds. Overall my daughter likes this set and she can build lots of different structures with the blocks.

Combining construction and imaginative play, this fun set allows preschoolers to get creative in different ways. Once the set is built, kids can take Sofia on fun adventures in her flying carriage. They can help her travel into the forest for a tea party with Whatnaught the Squirrel near his revolving tree, then help her find the magical book hidden in the secret library.
