I bought this for my nephew now that he's old enough to start playing with Lego (Duplo) sets. For $5 (US), this is a low risk set to gauge a young child's interest. Based on the results, I forsee years of Lego sets from his uncle. If you're not sure if a 1-2 year old will like playing with Lego sets, start with this one!

My grandkids just love these lego's . I babysitt for them everyday and the first thing that they do is go for legos. Even the baby 7mon loves to take apart what her brother and sister make. Just so cute. I like this because it's safe for different ages (even adults). It helps develops coronation and thinking skills.
