What a perfect alphabet truck! The truck was super simple to put together, just three pieces, minus all the blocks you stack! Your child of course can stack them however they want, but I decided it would be fun to put them in order. The colors even line up when you do! This set is great for practicing the alphabet with your child, letter identification, letter sounds, etc. It's a great learning opportunity and building fun. This set doesn't come with directions, but the box has the picture on it. The advertisement that came with the set does have a picture, but nothing is super clear about what goes where, instead it's open to your imagination. Duplo Legos are the same high quality, durable legos they have always been which I love! They are built to last and high quality! I highly recommend!
My daughter is 2 and she is beginning to learn her alphabet.... So I thought this would be a great starter kit for her as she can play and learn at the same time. LEGO does provides a poster with all the letters for matching ability, what could have been better is if they made the poster using the cardboard box for durability. She loves building with the blocks and saying the letters/counting how many she used. What would make this product even better would be to provide both upper case and lower case letters on the blocks so children can extend their understanding of letters while playing. Another option would be to provide an extension pack of lower case blocks (same colour as upper case) again for children to be able to match letters, extend their play etc...
