My son is just under 2 so obviously can't build this but he enjoyed playing with it - feeding the cake to the people and dog, pretend washing hands at the sinks and taking baths. We have the 10835 house that we got used and this one is significantly better - more detailed and easier to play with since it's more open and less closed off. Not sure how I feel about these cloth pieces cause they are stiff and small. But everything else is great so far. In general I like the large Duplo sets for this age because I can rebuild a different structure and my son thinks it's a new toy :)

The set is really great! Lots of new building blocks. New characters! My 3-year old daughter built the house in about an hour. Real fun playing!

After a fun build process with a very excited little girl, it was played with for a solid hour before being dismantled and swiftly built into something different. There's a great range of parts perfect for endless house layouts and a massive imagination. For little kids this is a stellar set and should definitely be picked up.
