This Trafalgar lego set is awesome if you like lego's and you over the age of 20 or even your late teens then you will like this. I ordered it this last Friday, got it on Saturday and finished it on Sunday the only real problem I had was that the two pieces that make the front of the roof don't lie flush with each other (see last picture)like it show's on the box but other than that I got exactly what I paid for and had a great time building this Lego set .One thing to know this is pricey it's 79.99 but when tax is added it comes to 86.59 almost 90$ but other than that this is an awesome Lego set. You can bet I'll be getting more in the future

I used to walk through Trafalgar Square nearly every day as a London tour guide and I was astonished with the detail they've managed to squeeze into this scaled down version. Memories came flooding back as I pictured a miniscule me walking around the square. There are some really neat building techniques, no stickers whatsoever and the final product is very visually pleasing. My only gripe is that the paintings inside the National Gallery appear to be random printed tiles from other sets, including a control panel from the Star Wars line and a bright unicorn. This was a little disappointing as the Gallery is not famed for its stock of modern / pop art and I would have loved to have seen tiny versions of JMW Turner's Fighting Temeraires or Vincent van Gogh's Sunflowers instead. However this is a minor thing and once you've built the model you won't be looking inside the gallery that often anyway. Overall I'm very pleased with the build and it sits proudly on my desk where I can reminisce about the years I spent in London as often as I like.

Architecture sets have become increasingly impressive and 21045 Trafalgar Square looks absolutely wonderful. I love its bright colour scheme which stands out on display and the detailing is exceptional, employing some innovative building techniques and exciting pieces. Furthermore, this is probably the greatest example of integration between a building and its environment within the Architecture theme.
