When I saw this set, I was like "The Wither?!" And the set is awesome! The price per piece is good, as it has over 300 pieces and is only $20.00. Steve looks good, and has iron armor on. It's pretty easy to build, so this is good for people have just started building Lego Minecraft. Pros: -Wither looks good -Wither Skeletons -TNT -Launching cannon -Falling fortress -Nether Wart -Wither has moving heads -Lots of lava -Connects well with Nether Fortress set Cons: -Fortress keeps falling over -Wither has to go around with lava to stand up All in all, this is a great set for fans of Lego, Minecraft, and Lego Minecraft!
One can't go wrong with Legos and I was happy to finally start my collection of Minecrafts. Though a bit late in the series. Also very pleased with the prices as many are cheaper than what they were when released. Grabbing a few models while I can. I did allow my grandson to help build ONE! Sorry kids.. Nana's money.. Nana gets to build!!! Patricia Hauge
The LEGO Wither set recreates the powerful boss mob from the video game. It brings the digital characters and settings into the real world, and allows fans to play out adventures, or stage a Minecraft boss battle diorama.
My overall opinion is that this is a nice set with some flaws. I would definitely advise those people who are not looking to have a complete collection, or those who do not already have 21122: The Nether Fortress, to look at the other 2016 LEGO Minecraft sets. For those that do already own 21122, this does make for a very nice addition, expanding the original set and adding new mobs and play features.
I think it's a great set, fantastic, superb design, fun play feature, great LONG SKELLIE LEGS WOOT, but not for the price that LEGO is asking. It's really rather absurd that a set that amounts to a crumbling piece of terrain could be forty dollars. All in all, I'd recommend that you pick up this set on sale, should you be lucky enough to find it on sale one of these days. Otherwise, Bricklink the long skeleton legs.
