My 9yo daughter loves these Lego friends kits, way better than the polly pockets. This product not only has the inherent benefits of a Lego kit (it has to be assembled by the kid), but it is also a beautiful set for girls and very durable too. Our little parrot (Pepino) loves these, as well as the Polly Pockets, but the Lego doll could not be destroyed by the parrot, my little fellow tried hard, but every piece can be reassembled, even the arms, unlike the Polly, who can't stand a 3 minute battle against the parrot beak, it becames unusable. So I declare this toy suitable for big girls and little parrot alike. Delivery time from Amazon was very good + free shipping!
The set as a whole is underwhelming: not just because of the part count and price, but the generally poor choice of parts. Yes Light Aqua is a newly introduced colour, but I thought there should have been more of it included in the quad bike design than just three parts - especially with so few parts in the set. Emma's Design Studio - probably my highest rated Friends set of the ones I have right now - had an incredible selection of parts and colours at the same price, and even Andrea's Stage represented.
