The vehicles are really good though, and they add a nice little level of playability. The fire truck's ladder goes up and down, and the helicopter's rotor blades spin as well. This set gets 7 out of 10 tiny little, but slightly oversized fire hydrants.

I think Legos are an essential part of every child's growing up. Studies have shown that kids who play with Legos have greater critical thinking skills. Having said that, this set is the most overpriced and disappointing set I have every purchased.

I have to admit to being very pleased with these sets; they were a fun build and they look quite cute, especially when displayed together. It would be great if they were part of a larger range of “pocket money" micro-modular sets, enabling people to build their own “micro table towns".
