Ordered two of these sets and both came missing the same pieces. They were not pieces that could be used in more than one build. They were specific to one design, ie, a deer tail, a snowmobile hood, etc. I called LEGO and these sets are no longer available. IF I sat down and shifted through ALL the pieces, and sent a list, LEGO would send me the pieces. That would have meant making all the creations while noting what was missing. Talk about an exercise in frustration! I had to return both sets.
I was very disappointed to learn that the set (40253) did not have enough pieces to build all of the items shown. I had to spend $100 to receive this offer set with my order. I was under the impression that it was similar to an advent calendar (being able to build a new item each day.) You can certainly do that, but you have to disassemble items from the previous days in order to have the required pieces. It would have been much better, and actually worth the required $100 purchase if, upon completion on Christmas Day, if you had 24 different, and complete, builds to display. I have been purchasing from Lego for a very very long time, long before I discovered and became a VIP. I shop Lego, not only for myself (as an AFOL), but for all of my children, nieces, and nephews. I am always excited and have ALWAYS been satisfied with every past Lego purchase I've made, however, this time I was very let down & disappointed.
