This is a set I really enjoyed building, and the individual builds were satisfying despite simple building techniques. The true beauty of the set is its design. It looks great as a whole, yet it can be parted in two sections easily, and each of them retains enough playability to enjoy it.

This set is a fine addition to The LEGO Friends series. As one expects with LEGO, there are lots of nifty details. I love that Andreas has a laptop on her desk. The vanity table has all sorts of neat items. Once the room is assembled, there are so many opportunities for creative play. The directions are clear and easy to follow. Some of the parts are quite small, so little hands may need a bit of help in getting them together. These toys are a great investment as they are sturdy, encourage flexible, creative play and just plain fun. This whole series is delightful.. The various pet houses are another favorite.
