I got this for my 8-year-old granddaughter for Christmas, and she loves it! She is crazy about camper trailers and camping, so this was the obvious choice to get for her. She enjoyed putting it together and discovering all of the great features it has, right down to the cute little hedgehog, tiny cupcakes and a flame for the little camping cooker. Legos are great for finger dexterity, following directions if you go by the book, or creativity if you don't use the instruction book. My 12-year-old niece also enjoys this Lego set and other "Friends" sets by Lego.

This set was fun to build, while thinking of camping myself -- summer is almost here! I have a Lantern in a color similar to medium azure, so that camper burner is very appealing to me. It's a simple, yet succinct design that LEGO Friends is known for now.

I really love this set, in fact it's one of my favourites of the year. Whilst the car is nothing to write home about and the greenery absurd, the caravan itself is exquisite and charming. The shape has been captured perfectly and this is one of those sets where the Friends colour palette used is actually something you'd conceivably see in the real world... so perhaps this could be a 'crossover' set for those of you with City layouts. There's a refreshing absence of pink and lavender shades, opting instead for the bolder Friends colours, and the part selection is great for a smaller set.
