I'm an aunt and a godmother and I always choose and will (while it's age-appropriate) to gift my kids with Lego sets. I've witnessed kids' eyes light up, excitement grow and genuine fun rise. I am a strong believer that building with Lego blocks:1) Promotes motor skills2) Improves creativity and engineering thinking3) Develops persistence and planning skills4) Encourages problem solving and mathematical thinkingI've witnessed kids play with it for hours, engaged and eager to accomplish!

This set was not my favorite of the Jungle sub-theme, but having built it, I am anything but disappointed. A really good source of new and interesting pieces and colours and a playability that I didn't suspect. To make a long story short: highly recommended!!
