Let me start by saying that I applaud the Lego company for making a "girl set" that has a girl veterinarian. It's good for my daughter to see her possibilities are endless. Let me end by saying that I think it was probably unnecessary to include, in the set, a gun to finish off too-sick kittens.
This set has a lot of great little details and moving parts to enhance the imaginative play and allow kids to role-play what a realistic veterinarian experience is like. Kids who want to be a vet when they grow up will really like exploring that career through this playset.
The vet set from 2012 was very well-received and seemed to elude many fans who came into Friends after its initial busy first year. I think this set will be just as coveted for serious Friends fans, and other LEGO fans will enjoy the parts. Vet Clinic gets a positive "check-up" from me!
