This was a perfect gift for my Lego loving grandson. I was told this was a girl's set since the vet is a woman but he didn't care and I find it annoying that there is a set for girls and one for boys. However, the set is adorable; the little hedgehog is so cute and he was so happy Christmas Day that the whole family enjoyed his delight.

Kids who want to be a veterinarian when they grow up will like building and playing out all sorts of animal rescue scenes with this LEGO set. It's kind of a small set and, while fun on its own, really makes a nice addition to other LEGO Friends sets, sold separately, especially the other sets with a vet or animal theme.
