Another winning Elves set with lots of fun colors and interesting detail. Very happy to see the inclusion of a new style feline figure. Panthara the panther is a beautiful addition to the Elves sets and will look great with the other two adorable Elves set felines, Jynx, the sweet little cat from set 41180, Ragana's Magic Shadow Castle and Enki the panther cub from set 41075, The Elves' Treetop Hideaway.

I have purchased many of the lego elves sets. I am happy with all of them. They are very well put together and have nice detail. Bought for my 5 year old.

AFOLs can sometimes forget that the LEGO Group doesn't design all sets with them in mind; 41185 is a perfect example of this. As a playset, it receives top marks. Many kinds of kids will enjoy it immensely. Furthermore, it is extremely well-executed, from the colours to the architecture and the various details of Goblin village life strewn throughout. If you have kids who are at all into Elves or fantasy play, this set is for them. However, for AFOLs, their hard earned coin should be spent elsewhere.

At first glance, I wanted this set for the colors. After building it, I was not disappointed, but I also found it very fun to build and was delighted in all the play features that were hidden in each portion. The method of small builds for instant play, then being able to complete other portions of the village in time, work incredibly well in this set. All the little play features that give the elves and goblins opportunities to clash are great for kids, and impressive for an adult builder. And if it is taken apart, all the parts will make a nice addition to a LEGO collection.

I am very impressed with all the moving functions that the designer has managed to pack into this set. They all work well into the story and offer lots of opportunity for play. The level of detail is fantastic throughout. I'm also a huge fan of those carnivore plants - what a terrific addition to the set with their articulated jaws and perfect colourings. I love the detail of adding the bone to one of them.
