Great, great set! The color palette is incredible; the Dark Turquoise/Light Aqua/Magenta combination looks amazing. Wonderful new pieces (Lantern!) and new colors (Trans florescent green scrolls and titanium metallic carriage wheels!) make this set great to display, and a great source of parts when rebuilding. Nocturna's carriage is amazing, both in looks and how well the flapping wings function. The Technic elements make it work smoothly, and it's been flitting round the table for days with no loss of stability. The Technic elements might present a challenge to younger builders, but the instructions are clear so with a little help even young builders will have lots of fun building, and the play possibilities are excellent!

This is a good looking Lego set. I think it looks better in real life than it does in the pictures. The construction of the three items is a little bit complex though. I imagine young children will need help building this. The car is the most complicated piece, since it has movable "flying" wings. Overall, I think it's a good value, and I'll definitely buy more Lego Elves merchandise.

This set will be a fun way for LEGO Elves fans to play out the storyline and create more of their own adventures in Elvendale. The cauldron feature is really cool, and kids will like pretending to cook up some bats with Noctura.
