Usually I only collect Harry Potter or Disney sets, but when I saw the Rescue themed Friends sets, I was immediately curious. I figured the Turtle Rescue set would be a reasonable place to start- if I enjoyed it, then I would consider getting the bigger sets too. It's a cute, quick build and my family enjoyed seeing it as well- my 2yo son was fascinated with the vehicle and the turtles. We will definitely be looking for the other rescue sets in the future!

So who knew turtles needed rescuing? It is a good thing that Olivia is running this rescue center, and has Zobo to assist her! Having an amphibious car was also good planning as turtles can be found both in the water and sometimes on land! Overall this is a cute little set, offering lots of play opportunities for curious minds.

LEGO Friends 41376 Turtles Rescue Mission is a strong addition to the theme. It's a really fun building experience and the set comes packed with wonderful little extras. What's more, the set is designed to teach kids the importance of looking after the planet and caring for all animals.

I'm quite partial to Olivia, so I was happy to see her (and Zobo) featured in another set. I like how this theme is developing with each of the Friends demonstrating how they're able to rescue adorable baby animals. The use of the amphibious vehicle is terrific. The main building, while relatively simple, is very effective and has a wonderful tropical colour scheme.
