This set is perfect for a little girl just starting out with LEGOS. I personally am not a fan of the LEGO “friends" line for little girls. They are materialistic and do not foster creativity the way regular Legos do. This set is a great option for young girls. Even if they've never seen the unikitty show, the characters are cute, and simple to make. There are also plenty of extra bricks that inspire creativity. And they're not overwhelmingly pink! Bonus!

The builds in this are pretty simple, which will be great for younger fans of the TV show. They'll like being able to build their favorite characters and settings, just like what they see on the show, and playing out all sorts of creative adventures in their own version of the Unikingdom.
