I love the Captain America Brickheadz. They translated his look almost perfectly to the Brickheadz form factor and the addition of the shield and back clip gives it that little bit of zing when it comes to displaying him. What seals the deal is his thoughtful beady little eyes and vacant expression, as well as all the nice printed elements. Super cute and is a must-buy for any Marvel fan.

These sets are about as collectible as you can get! There's supposed to be multiple series coming (that's apparently the reason for that number 1 on the stand), a plethora of characters to choose from in the future, and loads of people creating their own.

I certainly recommend this set to fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although it is difficult to ignore the more interesting designs offered by many of the other BrickHeadz sets. 41591 Black Widow is my favourite of the Marvel BrickHeadz figures and would perhaps be more suitable for those on a tight budget but 41589 Captain America is a worthy purchase in my opinion, offering reasonable value despite its relatively low piece count.

Cap's right hand has the clip facing forward to hold the shield, and he also gets a clip built into the back for his shield. His skin is dark tan with tan tiles over top, and he has a 1×2 dark tan rail plate sticking out as a chin. I'm not sure why it's not just a regular plate, and it makes the figure look a little bucktoothed from the side.

Three elements with exclusive prints for Captain America are an Earth Blue 1x4 brick with his star and torso detail (6188686), an Earth Blue 1x4 Flat Tile with a white letter “A" (6188254) and a White 1x4 Brick with red shapes (6188690).

You might be thinking what I am thinking; “that white and red printed brick looks reusable as wallpaper."
