Iron Man

This was perfect! My boyfriend loved it. I purchased it as a gift for his birthday and wrapped it up with the newer iron man brick headz. He was so surprised that I managed to find it as even the newer one has been sold out in most stores since the end of December. It's a little more than what I would normally pay for something like this but I'll say that for him, it was $15 well spent. more less

I like Iron Man. He's always been one of the “cool" super heroes and the Brickheadz version certainly checks all the “cool" boxes. The blocky look combines well with the sloped head and it's instantly recognizable as Iron Man when you display him. more less

These sets are about as collectible as you can get! There's supposed to be multiple series coming (that's apparently the reason for that number 1 on the stand), a plethora of characters to choose from in the future, and loads of people creating their own. more less

41590 Iron Man is fairly simple in relation to many of the other BrickHeadz models but it looks splendid, with considerable detail and a perfect combination of colours across the armoured suit. I love the printed elements and the shaping of the helmet is particularly impressive. I certainly recommend this figure, although 41588 The Joker and 41591 Black Widow remain my favourites of those released so far. more less

Lots of dark red tiles, in a variety of shapes from 1×1 to 2×4, and the ear tiles are held on with dark red jumper plates. I can't help but think that the printed 1×2 tile on Iron Man's torso looks like eyes staring back at me. My one complaint is that the SDCC version included Iron Man's hand thrusters, made with 1×1 plates with a handle, and it's a shame they're not included here. more less

Nothing in Iron Man's four exclusive printed elements is universally reusable unless you want to build your own Hulkbuster. 
The pieces are Dark Red Flat Tile 1x2 with Iron Man detail (6188458), Dark Red Flat Tile 1x4 with Iron Man detail (6188715), Flame Yellowish Orange Plate W. Bow 2X4X2/3 with Iron Man head detail (6188122) and Transparent Light Blue Flat Tile 1x1 with a white printed square (6179033). The latter, which is used for Iron Man's eyes, has a little more potential. As you may have guessed you get two (plus a spare), and I don't have any particular idea in mind for it at the moment, but I am sure it will find its use some day.
