So cute. I was on the fence about ordering this one (I ended up getting it cuz I didn't want Gamora to be alone.)So glad I got him. The pictures do not do him justice. He's much cuter in person.
This is another impressive Brickheadz Figure and incorporating Star-Lords mask is much more interesting than just a simple human face. The mask makes it stand out among other Brickheadz and the two unique printed pieces are an improvement over using stickers.
On the whole, I'm not a huge fan of it. Unlike other BrickHeadz sets like 41607 Gamora, there's no interesting hairpiece to make it stand out, and thus he looks pretty plain. His body is also quite plain-looking too, with only one printed part on his torso. That's not entirely the designers' fault – Star-Lord was pretty plain to begin with, and I don't know why LEGO chose him to make a BrickHeadz of. I feel that someone like Cap, Bucky, or even Falcon would be more interesting. It's not particularly bad, but it's not particularly good either.
Star-Lord's helmet is, of course, his most prominent feature, wrapping around his head but leaving his hair uncovered. The nougat-colored hair is unkempt, made of lots of 1×2 curved slopes (aka “baby bows"). The front of the mask employs the printed tile for the facial details, with a minifigure handlebar for the breathing apparatus and trans-red 1×1 round tiles for the eyes. The dark grey elements used throughout the helmet suffice, but would have looked much better in pearl silver or pearl dark “gunmetal" silver.
