These sets will be a lot of fun for Harry Potter fans who like building with LEGO. Brick Headz offers a fun new look for the popular characters that will look great displayed in a Harry Potter collection.
I am really enjoying the Brick Heads. Each one is a fast build, taking under ten minutes, they do not use stickers, and the details on this set are really excellent. If you don't have a lot of time, and want to play with a new Lego set, you can't go wrong with this set.
Mom son loves this LEGO set. He is a huge Harry Potter fan and a LEGO lover so it was a match made in Heaven. He has always enjoyed trying to create little characters from his existing LEGO sets. He has had some success but he has never been able to create anything like what this set builds. It was easy for him to assemble, which is not saying much given his experience with LEGOS. His sister, on the other hand, has almost no LEGO experience. She loves Harry Potter too and begged to put Ron together. She built Ron as easily as her Brother built Dumbledore. They chose not to put them on the included bases because they thought they looked trapped. After assembly they had hours of fun playing with them. When not in use, he sits them proudly on his display shelf. I would buy this set again.
On display the duo look amazing, although Dumbledore is not as visually striking due to a more muted colour palette. 41621 Ron Weasley & Albus Dumbledore can solemnly swear that it's a good set, with the finished wizards faithfully capturing the essence of their on-screen counterparts.
People either love BrickHeadz or hate them, but these have an audience beyond the hardcore LEGO fan. This set will certainly appeal to Harry Potter fans, be they book lovers or moviegoers. I personally have a soft spot for the BrickHeadz range, as mentioned above the ability to create a character likeness, within a limited stylised design standard, is very impressive. Plus all graphic design on these and in fact all BrickHeadz sets has always been achieved by printed elements. Making them great for part hunters and MOC makers. Although many of waiting with excitement for the LEGO Harry Potter sets to become available, these are more than enough to keep you busy until they arrive.
41621 Ron Weasley & Albus Dumbledore is undoubtedly among my favourite BrickHeadz sets to date. The Hogwarts headmaster is probably the more interesting of the two figures, due primarily to its striking colour scheme and detailed robe, but Ron looks marvellous too. I like the Gryffindor scarf very much and his characteristic ginger hair is accurate to the movies.
No doubt we'll be seeing more Harry Potter BrickHeadz in the future (not to mention the likelihood of Fantastic Beasts characters), but the five characters contained in the first three sets make a great start to a BrickHeadz-sized Hogwarts. They're excellent sculpts for this quick-fire line of collectible figures, with Dumbledore and Hedwig being the standouts. If you're a Harry Potter fan, you definitely won't want to miss these adorable figures, even if you don't collect other BrickHeadz.
