Boba Fett was supposedly the best bounty hunter in the galaxy and has a massive fan following. The LEGO designers have chosen to re-create his Return of the Jedi costume and Fett is one of the most complex BrickHeadz released. Building the body breaks with the typical BrickHeadz style, and instead of layering lots of bricks you build an internal frame. The colour scheme is excellent and the movie-accurate printing is awesome - like the dent on the front of the helmet, or the yellow side striping. Another authentic detail is a brick-built jet-pack on the back of the figure. 41629 Boba Fett is a big improvement over the exclusive one available at a comic-con last year and one of the best in the Star Wars BrickHeadz range.
Ever since this guy got a New York Comic Con 2017 limited release, I have been dying to get my hands on one. I wish it came with Han frozen in carbonite, but this is one of the best BrickHeadz releases to date. The tiny details make so awesome.. the blue on his jet pack, dent on his helmet, and large sight on his rifle, just makes this set a MUST HAVE!
Even though fans are getting better accustomed in what to expect from the BrickHeadz theme, 41629 Boba Fett offers a few surprises and exceeds expectations.
For those of us less interested in Marvel and DC superheroes or Disney cartoon characters, it's great to finally get a more complete cast of Star Wars characters to decorate our desks with. These three new BrickHeadz sets (with four new characters) are fantastic additions to the series, and must-have purchases for all LEGO Star Wars fans.
This is definitely one of the best BrickHeadz to date! It makes use of some brilliant building techniques which really distinguish Boba Fett from other figures and the selection of sand green parts is excellent.
