I don't know why such negative reviews for this series dots. I do agree that they could be far more appealing graphics, but one has to remember the age group they are after. I like the new translucent aspects of these. The stars are dope as well.

At £3.99 / $3.99, they are the sort of thing you'd impulse buy on your way to the checkout if shops were open, but as it is they are worth bearing in mind if you need to take your LEGO.com order over a certain amount to bag a GWP.

The Brothers Brick

Recommendation: meh by Chris Doyle

I'm a fan of the DOTS theme, and I was excited to get my hands on these packs. Sadly, these are the least useful of the Extra DOTS packs so far for me. The lack of 1×1 round tiles is a pretty big demerit in my eyes, and the printed tiles aren't nearly as much fun as previous waves. The quarter-circle tiles are also all in colors that are readily available, further making this pack less of a draw.
