Recommendation: meh 4.6 / 5 from 34 reviews

This was much better than what I was expecting. I bought it for my 7 year old son's birthday. It was pretty complicated comapred to previous Hero Factories that he has but he managed it ok without too much help from me. The wings move with a trigger mechanism at the back which we weren't expecting. It was a nice surprise. The price was pretty good too for the complexity involved. I recommend this unit for any 7 year old. It might be a little tricky for younger kids, but it is rated for age 8 and above afterall.

Recommendation: yes 45 / 50 by Brickthing

As a model, this set is fantastic, and I would highly recommend it. It has a solid, functional design that is extremely fun to play with, and looks fantastic as well. It carries a bug-like vibe that suits the Brain Attack theme, but it would work well for a Hero on any mission, either Rocka or any character of your own choice. The set falls down with the parts that it offers, but only because the design is so tight that there is no room or need for superfluous and extravagant pieces, other than on the pilot who is generic by design, since he's not the focus of the set.
