I think Squidman's Pitstop is a nifty little set. It may not be physically very big, but all the contents including the accessories, vehicles, and minifigures make it seem like to have a fair amount to mess around with. I was initially a bit disappointed with the price of the set (I only found out for the first time at checkout exactly how much it cost) though I quickly made myself feel a bit better by comparing it to Soldier's Fort - same price however Squidy's hideout contained more pieces.
I think that this set is worth getting if there is a sale or if you had a coupon. This set gives a place for the bad guys to hide out; let's hope they release a police space station! Yes it doesn't have too many pieces, but it adds variety and you get a real 'hideout' feel.
This truck is unlike any other playmobil item we have ever owned (10+). Plastic is cheap. thin and dull, not as durable as in original playmobil, no drawers or shelves open, pieces fall out, it comes completely assembled (????), one light was not working. It feels like a cheap crap product NOT playmobil. So this particular fire truck is not even sold in Germany (where playmobil originates from) and rather seems like some cheap product for the US or other market. Dont buy it or you and your kid will be utterly disappointed. Go with the older slightly more expensive fire truck models, they are awesome!!!
