This was an excellent purchase (in fact, I bought this twice). The first time, I bought it for my son to play with his sister while she's busy with her LEGO Friends beach themed sets. When it arrived, I discovered that the surfer is the male counterpart to the blonde female (wearing the same wetsuit) being dunked in the Fairground Mixer (set #10244). Since I also bought that set, it's good to know that our surfer can now "relieve" the poor woman from being dunked all the time...The second purchase was made as a cute, cheap add-on to the Coast Guard Patrol (set #60014). All the elements are fun and the build is satisfying. From stocking stuffer to party favor...This is a great little set.
This is a small set but it packs a lot of play into its tiny box. Kids can stage the rescue, where the Coast Guard heads out to save the surfer from the shark, or they can come up with their own stories.
A very well designed set, focusing on the jetski. sleek design and an improvement over previous designs.
This set is perfect for kids! For the price, you get a ton of play value - namely two minifigures, a shark, a small vehicle, a surf board, and a pair of life jackets (along with a life preserver ring). For a set with only 32 pieces, I can't imagine a set boasting more play value than you get out of this set. Also, for the price, getting a pair of minifigures is a good deal - both of which have some decent printing on their torsos as well!
Overall this is a great set, and for this price I can recommend it to absolutely everybody. Well...? What are you waiting for? Go out and buy it!
A nice little set to add fill-in to a City beach layout, and a teaser for the rest of the Coast Guard sub-theme. Is it worth the £5? Just about, for two new torsos, a shark and a (rather basic) watercraft.
