If I must criticize this set for anything, it's that it is a bit oversized for a tow truck, but as I said above, it looks fine towing other trucks. This is an outstanding set. It's a great-looking model with a lot of functions, an attractive color scheme, and a minimum of stickers.

I'm currently working in a trucking-related field where a lot of my coworkers have toy semi-trucks on their desks. Being a die-hard fan of LEGO, I had to get this semi-truck wrecker for my office. It was fun to build and I'm sure that anyone from its intended audience, kids, would have hours of fun towing their LEGO vehicles around. The boom raises and lowers and also extends outwards and has a winch on a cable. You get a couple of tools that clip to the side and a driver with the obligatory coffee cup that every LEGO truck comes standard with. A great set for any city collection.
