LEGO'S Airport Fire Truck was a huge hit with my six year old Grandson......He takes " Lego building" very seriously....... :) :) He started it in the morning, stopping only to allow his mom to take pictures as he progressed. She sent me many emails and he sent the last one that evening...It was a picture of him and his finished fire truck, with a huge grin on his face... :)Right now, the screen saver on my desktop is a picture of him, with a huge smile on his face, showing me....." The Lego City Great Vehicles Car Carrier".....They drove to my house in Minnesota on the Interstate, and along the way they saw quite a few Semi Trucks carrying new cars to the Dealerships...So it was a special treat when he received one for Christmas......

The engine itself looks great. It's a really good size, and I didn't realise until building it, but it has some good storage compartments in the back, which are accessible from both sides. It is bright, looks a little imposing, and would really suit an airport scene, as it looks very much like ones I've seen at the airport myself. The big water cannon at the top is a great addition too, and I particularly like the hose at the side of the engine. It allows for some great playability. The driver's compartment is nice and big, and has room for two minifigures, which doesn't often happen in City vehicles.
