Got this for the kids birthday. We are a off-roading family and this kit was perfect for a gift. We had a great time putting it together and playing with it. Still is a favorite toy around the house.

I bought this set mainly for the parts (tires, tools, etc.) and didn't have any plans to display it. Once I had it assembled, I really liked the end results! The set is a great Lego set for any racing enthusiast (even if it isn't licensed like the Speed Champions line) and displays well with other similar vehicles. I have mine next to my Speed Champions race cars. Blends in nicely.

This construction set makes a nice addition to a LEGO City collection, but it's also a fun stand-alone set for imaginative racing play. It's perfect for any kid who likes building with LEGO and racing toy cars.

The Brothers Brick

This is a solid set. It's not the most glamorous, and play features pretty much consist of rolling wheels and your imagination. However, I know that 12-year-old me would have been thrilled with this set, and it's a good addition to a City collection. It would also be pretty easy for a budding builder to construct additional vehicles in the same style to race with it.
